We have two great spicy, meat- free recipes to wake up your taste buds, while keeping you healthy and slim. Read below to start heating up your kitchen.

 Tangy Tofu Stir Fry

 Add to your next tofu stir-fry sriracha. Sriracha is a tangy, sweet, Thai hot sauce.  All you need is a food processor to cut your vegetables well. Use rice vinegar to bring out the flavor in the vegetables and noodles. Here are the ingredients:

 

Ø1 box of extra-firm tofu

Ø2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

Ø8 ounces of dry soba noodles

Ø 2 teaspoons peanut oil

Ø3 cloves garlic, minced

Ø1 1”piece fresh ginger, finely chopped

Ø3 medium carrots, cut into strips

Ø1 medium red bell pepper, julienne

Ø1 cup of sliced mushrooms

Ø4 scallions, cut into 1” pieces

Ø1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained

Ø1 tablespoon cornstarch

ؽ cup reduced-sodium vegetable broth

Ø3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

Ø2 tablespoons natural rice vinegar (not seasoned)

Ø1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil

Low-Fat Spicy Mac and Cheese

 Are you a Mac and Cheese lover? If yes, this is a wonderful comfort food dish to make! The Mac and Cheese contains chipotle chile pepper to give you the perfect kick. It can be made healthier with reduced-fat milk. Here are the ingredients:

Ø3 C elbow macaroni

Ø3 Med Scallions, Chopped

Ø3 tbsp all-purpose flour

Ø2 ½ C shredded reduced-fat (2%) sharp cheddar cheese (10 oz).

Ø ½ C reduced-fat sour cream

Ø 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Ø 1 tsp chopped chipotle chile pepper in adobo sauce

Ø ½ tsp salt

Ø 3 tbsp dried bread crumbs

Ø 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Ø 2 tsp olive oil

Are you planning on having a Christmas Brunch this year? If yes, we have a few great recipes to share with you to make it a pleasant one! Read below to start cooking!

 Turkey Filled Omelette

 Do you enjoy eating turkey, then you will love this omelet filled with turkey and savory seasoning. It takes only 15 minutes to prep and 5 minutes to cook.

You need the following ingredients:

-         1 Tablespoon Olive Oil.

-         2 Teaspoons Unsalted Butter

-         1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Shiitake Mushroom

-         1 Shallot, Finely Chopped

-         ¼ Teaspoon Salt

-         1 fresh sage leaf, minced

-         ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

-         ¼ cup shredded cooked turkey

-         1 teaspoon dry vermouth (optional)

-         2 eggs, chilled

-         1 pinch ground white pepper

-         2 teaspoons olive oil

-         1 tablespoon crème fraiche

 Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

 This is a great Christmas morning meal. It is delicious and sure to become a household favorite. It takes 20 minutes to prep and 1. 5 hours to cook.

The ingredients are as followed:

-         1 pound ground pork sausage

-         1 teaspoon mustard powder

-         ½ teaspoon salt

-         4 eggs, beaten

-         2 cups milk

-         6 slices white bread, toasted and cut into cubes

-         8 ounces mild Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

 This is a fresh and fulfilling dish that you can make for the family Christmas day. Use blueberries and cover them with blueberry sauce to make a one of a kind French toast meal. It takes 15 minutes to prep and 1 hour and 15 minutes to cook.

-12 slices day-old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes.

- 2(8 ounce) packages cream cheese, cut into1-inch cubes.

- 1-cup fresh blueberries.

- 12 eggs, beaten.

- 2 cups milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

- 1/3-cup maple syrup.

-1 cup of white sugar

–2 tablespoons cornstarch

–1 cup water

–1 cup fresh blueberries

–1 tablespoon butter
