Refrigerator Lime Cheesecake Recipe

 

Want to make a fantastic dessert that will guarantee you compliments? If yes, this lime cheesecake recipe is for you! It only takes 30 minutes to prepare and chilling to make to perfection. It serves 12.

 

These are the ingredients you will need:

-      38 ladyfingers, split

-      1 envelope of gelatin

-      ¼ cup of chilled lime juice

-      2 packets of 8 ounce cream cheese, softened

-      1 cup of sugar

-      6 ounces of white baking chocolate (melted and cooled).

-      2 teaspoons of grated lime peel

-      1 cup of heavy whipping cream

-      Fresh strawberry and lime slices

 

With these ingredients, arrange 22 of your split ladyfingers around the edges and 16 split ladyfingers on an 8-inch spring form pan. Place this aside and in a small saucepan sprinkle your gelatin over your lime juice. Let it settle for 1 minute. Heat this sauce on low heat and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Let it cool.

 

Next, get a large bowl and beat your cream cheese and sugar until its smooth. Once smooth, beat in your melted chocolate, lime peel and gelatin mixture. Fold in your whipped cream and pour it into your prepared pan. Place this pan covered in your fridge for 3 hours. For finally touches, garnish the strawberry and lime slices.

 

Another excellent dessert for Father’s Day is the 1-2-3 Blackberry Sherbet Recipe!

 

This mouth watering Blackberry sherbet recipe will surely please your dad! It only takes 10 minutes to prepare plus freezing time. The recipe can serve up to 8 people!

 

The following ingredients are needed:

-      4 cups of fresh or frozen blackberries, thawed.

-      2 cups of sugar

-      2 cups of buttermilk

 

In your food processor combine blackberries and sugar and process them until smooth. Make sure you strain and discard the seeds and pulp. Stir in the buttermilk.

Put your puree in a 13-in. X 9-in. dish. Freeze it for 1 hour. After 1 hour stir and return to the freezer. Freeze for 2 hours.

Right before serving, transfer this the sherbet back to the food process, cover it, and process it for 2-3 minutes.
